Vote on HRS hotels with your group
HRS is where plenty of European city trips get booked, and the shortlist ends up spread across everyone's phones. VoteStay gathers those hotels into one party, votes them head-to-head, and gives you a winner instead of an argument.
How it works with HRS
-
1
Start a party and share the code
Name the trip, grab the 6-character code, and drop it in the group chat. Anyone with the code joins from a browser.
-
2
Paste your HRS finds
Copy a hotel page link from HRS and paste it in. VoteStay pulls in the hotel's name and photo for a vote card.
-
3
Vote and book
Everyone votes two hotels at a time. When the leaderboard has a winner, open its card and book on HRS as usual.
Pasting HRS links
Paste an HRS hotel page link — the ones with /hotel/ and the hotel's number in the address. Links from hrs.com and hrs.de both work, and VoteStay keeps the language you copied from.
VoteStay pulls in the hotel's name and photo and drops the rest of the link, so two people pasting the same hotel end up with one card.

HRS questions
+ Do prices show?
VoteStay shows the hotel's public name and photo. Rates change with dates and stay on HRS; members can add a price note so the group compares fairly.
+ Is VoteStay affiliated with HRS?
No. VoteStay is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HRS. You book directly on HRS at their normal prices.
+ Can everyone add links?
Yes. Any member of the party can paste HRS links, up to 50 hotels per party.
